💼 About the role

The Front of House Coordinator is responsible for delivering across a broad range of 'public facing' operations including customer service, communications, gallery invigilation, processing shop sales and performs a range of administrative tasks to support the organization for the Front of House and GPP Shop.


⏰ Hours

Our part-time position is ideal for someone who is looking to gain experience in a customer-facing role while balancing other commitments. The part-time position will require a commitment of 2-3 days a week (TBD) and will include weekend shifts from 10 am - 7 pm.
Our full-time position is perfect for someone who is looking for a long-term career opportunity with room for growth and advancement. The full-time position will require a commitment of 5 days a week from Monday - Friday 10 am - 7 pm.
In addition to our regular operations, both the part-time and full-time positions will require availability for events and other activations. Both positions have the potential for further advancement within the organization.

☝️Tasks + Responsibilities

➤ Keep the front desk tidy and presentable

➤ Greet and welcome guests and answer questions

➤ Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or take messages

➤ Check, sort and forward emails

➤ Answer customer questions on shop items ➤ Process shop and film lab transactions

➤ Monitor shop supplies and restock when necessary

➤ Assist with other duties as assigned (workshop transfer, print enquiries etc.) ➤ Shipping: package and create outgoing shipments as they arise, receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them


✍️ Requirements and skills

➤ At minimum a basic understanding of analog photography 

➤ Proficient in English (oral and written)

➤ Strong communication and people skills

➤ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

➤ Problem-solving
